E Myth Audio: Emyth Revisted - Michael E. Gerber

: Emyth Revisted - Michael E. Gerber

Emyth revisited, First off I may do a future posting on this, as it really deserves more future articles.
I will say out of 400-500 possible seminars, books, tapes, etc. that I have had the honor of learning from, I would say that the Emyth is arguably the #1 most important concept of them all.  Many people rank it as the highest or close to. The teacher Michael Gerber has been training 10,000’s of small businesses for about 35 years. He is the leading expert in the country at picking apart what makes small business work and not work. As I have been self-employed since an early age and already had been in business a few years I started listening and couldn’t believe how universal his thoughts are. He really points out what’s wrong with how small businesses are run. The one concept that he is so right about that you’ll never forget once it’s taught to you is how almost everyone works in their business and not on their business. There is a huge difference.  He calls the person working in their business the technician.  For example a restaurant owner who does 1/2 of the jobs, book keeping, marketing, cashier, opening, closing, and talking to customers, etc. for 80 hours per week just to save some money.  You can’t get rich or wealthy that way.  You have to learn how to step outside your business and look at it objectively from the outside. You have to learn how to replace yourself in that position and work on growing the business and making it more profitable. You always have to look at your $ per hour.  You don’t want to ever traide hours for dollars.  In front of me right now is the 7 CD set for The Emyth revisited, I highly recommend it. I have a Emyth book also I need to read.  In addition there are other books and audio in the series, it’s a brand for Michael Gerber.  I will add his website puts on seminars and training programs. This has sold millions of copies and has been in existence for many years.  This is something you don’t want to wait to hear til later in life. Get a copy today.
