Centerpoint Gas: CenterPointEnergy Home Service Plus®
Have you heard about the home service type of plan from CenterPointEnergy? I have known others to use this and they recommend it. It’s a very good value from what I’ve heard and the price is right. It’s kind of like an insurance on the products and appliances in your home in case they break. I personally haven’t used it yet, I have been meaning to.
You should visit their website for the latest update on what is or isn’t covered, plus you should talk to one of their representatives. And of course you need to buy this service before the product breaks.
At this time here is the link to this page on their site

I would just search home service plan from their website and you probably can find it. The URL above you have to paste all together, copy and paste.
For example it shows some main categories:
| Your Home Service Plus Repair Plan covers the indicated parts and the labor to install them on the appliances listed. View specific coverage by selecting below: | |
| Additional coverage options chart Your customized Home Service Plus Repair Plan covers the indicated parts and the labor to install them on the appliances listed |
|
| Main Drain Sewer | |
You have a chance to click on any of the main headings and find out more details about which parts and components of each are covered under the plan. At the time of this writing it reads as additional coverage options. Basically the way I was told it works is that for a vary reasonable monthly fee you pay monthly, if you experience one of these items to break at anytime, you call them up and a serviceperson comes out to repair it to working order again. That’s a lot of peace of mind. centerpointenergy.com has this great plan, and you should look into it. I have worked with Center Point Engery many years.
This may be great for renters to pay for and Landlords to insist as a win-win.
Various appliances can be very expensive if they break, like furnaces, refrigerators, etc.
Please check it out and let me know sometime your opinion on how you like it.
