10 Fastest Growing Markets: 10 Best Markets to Buy Real Estate
Wednesday, May 7th, 2008When searching for the best markets to buy real estate in the US. You don’t always want to go with what areas are the hottest this year. You want to look at more than that, you want to look at the long term. One good idea is to watch where the big companies are moving to. They have most likely done the demographic research and spent hundreds of thousands to find those best places. You know those areas will have lots of jobs available. You will want to look at the school system. You want a great education system. You want to live in a safe area. You want an area where you can easily sell someday. You want to buy a house for a price that’s lower in the neighborhood. You don’t want to buy the largest houses in the neighborhood, that mistake could cost you thousands. You may want to look for how many foreclosures are in that market right now. You may want to see if the price range is in your budget. You may want to check out the neighborhood at different times of day to see if their are trains, drugs, or loud noises from traffic. You may want to see if your job would be nearby. You will want to see if it’s a good educational and safe place to raise a family. You want to think long term. You can’t think about buying it for 12 months and selling it 12 months later. I just went to Money.com today and saw they had a great article on the 10 fastest growing areas. You will need to keep in mind this data may change in 30-60 days, so please keep that in mind based on when you are reading this article.
