Dubai Tallest Building: Many Future Projects

Have you seen Dubai in the Middle East, and how fast it’s grown in the last 5-10 years, if you haven’t you need to.

First look at the Burj al Arab Hotel It’s considered the only “7 star” rated hotel in the world, it’s very tall. It was built on an artificial island.  Here is more about the Burj al Arab.

I have a power point slide I can show you with over 30+ slides, I need to upload it on to a website. Photobucket wouldn’t let me upload that format, someone can drop me an email and I’ll upload it so you can see it. I could write 5 blog posts alone on just this power point that I received.  I would upload it to my server but at 1.7mb per download the bandwidth may get me.

Just a sampling rom the Power Point.   In 1990 they show a wide angle view where almost nothing was built, then they show it from a few years ago where it’s hard to recognize as the same place, more drastic than Las Vegas.   They are working on the largest water development in the world.   They already have Palm Tree islands.  The largest artificial islands, which can be seen from space.    They are working on eventually having 2000 villas in the resorts, luxury hotels, shopping centers, and movie theatres.  I believe this is going to be for the next project.

The next project “The World Islands”  This has to be seen on tv to be believed, I can’t even do it justice by describing it.  There will be 300 artificial islands at $25-$30 million each. Famous and rich people will buy them, and when all of the artificial islands are created by adding sand to the ocean floor, from outer space all of them together will look like the globe.

Hydropolis is in it’s design phases I think, it’s going to be the first underwater hotel.   They are working on Dubailand which will have twice the size of Disneyworld.  Dubailand will be built on 3 billion square feet.  They are expecting 200,000 visitors per day.

I will post more in the future about this place, but you have got to do research or watch something on tv about it, it’s amazing, it’s a hub for the Middle East and I think they are working on being the number 1 tourist destination in the world.

It’s amazing how tall the buildings in dubai are.
