Lease Options with Wendy Patton Audio CD

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

I am listening to the Wendy Patton Lease Option CD right now that I was given at my recent 2008 Summer Sizzler event put on by MNREIA where Wendy Patton was a speaker.   The name of the CD is Wendy’s Patton’s “Working with Realtors®”  Get Realtors® begging you to buy their listings.     Subtitle is Creative Seller Financing from the Realtor® Perspective.   This CD is has Wendy Patton, Gary Keller & David Jenks.   Control without Ownership Series.  You may remember Gary Keller as the guy who started Keller Williams.  You may remember Gary and David Jenks as the authors of the Millionaire Agent, which is a great book for agents.  This CD is Copyright 2008 Limitless Options, Inc.   They all give a great overview of lease options, land contracts, and Contract for deed and how agents can use them to help sellers sell in a buyers or sellers market.  This CD is 14 tracks long and time encoded for each track.  I like that all 3 of them actually are very interactive on the entire CD.  It’s not just Wendy talking the whole time, it’s a lot of good communication.  I am not sure where this CD is for sale, you may have to contact Wendy Patton for this CD.

Another great thing about this CD is that many people hear these audio series aimed at only real estate investors.  This is aimed with a creative aspect, but for agents, and their are thousands and thousands of agents out there that could sure use help these days with creative ways to sell real estate for sellers.    It seems everyone on the call was not worried about the due-on-sale clause based on their experiences.  They bring a few other investors onto the call.

This CD really covers a lot. They bring on another investors to breifly talk about sellers upside down, short sales, and he also gives his take on lease options, wraps arounds, etc. Much of the end of the CD is about short sales, which is timely for this market right now.  They briefly talk about bankruptcy.  This is a great CD that covers a lot of topics

Ron Paul, the economy, real estate, deficit and more

http://www.mortgagenewsdaily.com/video/embed.asp?id=1734

You should watch this vide with Ron Paul commenting on the economy, the deficit, and where things are headed.

They start off talking about what Europe things about us.  Ron talks about saving hundreds of billions every year. Less inflation, saving on the deficit.  He feels Obama is talking about expanding the war.   He thinks Europe is inflating faster than we are.  He talks a lot about how prices are going up around the world. He thinks the government needs to control inflation.  He doesn’t see purchasing power increasing soon.  He wants to fulfill benefits to those that are entitled.  He feels the dollar is going down in purchasing power.  Their is talk about printing more money.  $300 billion bought by the government in these securities.  Ron Paul feels too much spending running up the deficit.   They breifly talk about bailing out Fannie and Freddie.  He says we won’t let GM fail.  He feels we are going to keep continuing to bail out.  Ron Paul feels anyone that needs to be rescued will be, Ford or GM or whoever.  Ron Paul makes a good argument about how the government is insolvent, but they can raise taxes and print money, and how they have that power.

Real Estate Book Reviews Slide Show

I have included some of the more popular real estate books out there on real estate investing. I have set it up as a slideshow so that you can view them slowly and mouseover them to really see more product reviews. Also when you mouseover you can read user reviews to get a description of each of the books and products.  This way you can decide which book is right for you. Each of the books is very affordable and of good size and related to the same topic.   We’ve included commercial real estate investing, dolf de roos, investing in duplexes and triplexes, Trump University, real estate forum.  I will add more slideshows in the future, but this is a good way to sit back and relax and mouseover for info and not work so hard to find these books on this subject, the products that are all related come to you.  Also the link to the user reviews are there for you to make a wise purchase.

Real Estate Products: What is a tag cloud Widget?

Friday, July 25th, 2008

What is a tag cloud? For those of you not familiar, a tag cloud is a lot of random links, often in alphabetical order scattered in an area, often a square or retangular area that are relevant to a particular page’s category.  The can come in all types of color and background situations, but I think a very common one is blue on white.  Where the links and text are blue.

Here is another explanation:
The font size of the title in the cloud indicates how relevant the product is to your page – the larger the title, the more closely the product should match the topics on your page. This widget is ideal for sites with changing content such as blog pages. It will keep up with your changing page by automatically showing new titles as your page evolves.

This product tag cloud widget is actually even better than the average one, you can do a mouseover on it and actually find out more about a product for that category.

I have provided an example below, as you mouseover each category you will see how it works.  Tag clouds are pretty common on the internet these days. When I first saw them I thought they were strange, but the fact that some links and text jump out at you if they are more relevant, is actually a pretty good ideal for targeting.

Real Estate Television

With so many great shows on tv’s these days for investing, flipping homes, real estate, etc. I have found some that I found available for you to preview. I have seen so many great shows on A&E, HGTV, and DIY type of channels. These shows are 30 minutes and 60 minutes shows and most are a series. Some of the better ones are the flip the home shows, because you learn about a lot of pitfalls. There are a lot of first time home buyer shows, as well as how to save money with a house budget. There are space and design type of shows, and curb appeal and landscape shows. How to get the most out of your money for your home is a common theme. I think some of the networks I just mentioned are the best to watch. Most of those networks show these series 24 hours per day. Each flip show is unique because he rehabber is unique, his/her crew and especially their approach and which market and price point they choose. They show all of the mistakes that others make and hopefully every viewer can learn from others mistakes.
